Ghost Rider The Spirit Of Vengeance

The name “Ghost Rider” has been attributed to several fictional supernatural anti-heroes that appeared in comics published by Marvel. The first in the series was Johnny Blaze, a stunt motorcyclist who had agreed to sell his soul to the arch-demon Mephisto in order to save his step-father. Mephisto fails to get hold of Blaze’s soul due to the counter-spell by Roxanne, who was Blaze’s step-sister. Agitated, Mephisto forces Blaze to share his body with a demon rival named Zarathos. Initially, Blaze’s appearance changed only at night. His head would become a fiery skull and he would blast hell-fire from his skeleton hands. Later on, Blaze got the power to transform himself whenever he wished to. What followed was a battle between Blaze and Zarathos over total physical domination. Johnny Blaze was the star of the series from 1972 to 1983. He played a supporting role in the 1990s editions of the comics after which he took centre stage yet again in the mid-2000s. Danny Ketch starred as Ghost Rider from 1990 to 1998. He assumed this role after coming in contact with a motor-cycle enchanted with mystical powers. Unlike Johnny Blaze, Ketch and his demon, the Angel of Death, were cooperative with each other. Danny Ketch had the power to lock eyes with a target and after mentally focusing on it, he was able to make the target experience all the pain they had ever inflicted on anyone else.

G.I. Joe Comics The History And Villains

When you are looking for a comic book you will notice you have a wide variety of comics to collect like G.I. Joe. However, you may not realize G.I. Joe has a long and storied past. The first series of the comic would be started in the 1950's and be based off of stories from World War II and the experiences of some of the G.I.s had in the war.
