Iron Fist is one of the oldest characters in the Marvel history of comics, having had his first appearance back in 1974. He is well known for his abilities as a martial artist and also for his other abilities and strange powers. His first series of appearances were in the Marvel Premiere, a series known to include and introduce the new characters that inhabited the universe of the Marvel comics. In many ways those were the most collectible of the comics, although at the time the series was more interested in promoting the new characters. Junzo Muto was probably the most notable character to be a villain in the series, the only one that was able to steal the powers of the Iron Fist and to leave him stranded, almost abandoned. The way in which he gets to do this is really interesting, it is a struggle that was presented during numerous episodes in the series and also, while following the development of other secondary characters and other events. The other villains follow different patterns present in the universe, and depending on their reasons and background they will remain as cornerstones in the development of the main character.
