Daredevil is one of the most loved characters in the Marvel comics world. He is one that has been around from the beginning of the franchise, having been created back in 1946, exactly on the April’s fool’s day. His creator was none other than the remarkable Bill Everett, who drew him and the writing was handled by Stan Lee. The most dedicated imagery of him is his red suit and his posing as an air trooper, but his powers lie in the changes that occurred to him because of radiation poisoning. Blind as he may be, all of the other senses are heightened and he can sense everything else around him with a much more keener, out of this world ability.

A short history of Daredevil

Once the character has been irradiated he begins to understand that while his seeing is lost he is even more capable of understanding his surroundings with the keener senses of touch, hearing and even an extra sensorial ability to know where everyone else is. In terms of costumes and colors during the time that he has evolved, he has seen both a yellow hued costume that later, to mark his evolution and possibly his corruption, he will wear a red suit. Due to his very high degree of mobility and because of his speed he wears a tight fit that enables him to dodge and to move with an extra of speed and endurance. He is a member of the S.H.I.E.L.D. group as well as a member of The Chaste. He will in time extend his affiliation into a long lasting partnership with another hero, the lovely but mortal Elektra as well as with the Black Widow.

Villains opposing Daredevil

Daredevil will have to fight a lot of bad characters during his long history, but amongst the most powerful are the Gladiator, the Jester and Man-Bull. Using his keen echo-locating ability he is always able to keep the enemies at bay and to evade their every move. He defeats them with his incredible speed and cunning and also with the intelligence attributed to his martial artist marks.
