Emma Watson Biography

Emma Watson was born on 15th of April 1990 in Paris, Francis but grew into adulthood in England. She is a firstborn child to Chris Watson and Jacqueline Luesby, both of whom are lawyers. However, she never got to be raised by the two under the same roof. They divorced when she was 5 years old while her brother, Alex, was 2 years at that time. After the separation, Emma Watson, her mother and brother relocated to Oxfordshire in England.

While being raised up in England, Watson got an opportunity to study singing, acting and dancing at Stagecoach Theatre Arts School. Her first award for acting came from her recitation of “The Sea” by James Reeves when she was only 7 years old. Her theatre teachers then suggested her to Harry Potter series agents – even before she had ever attempted professional act.

Right from an early age, Watson wanted to picture herself different from what others thought. Many had already begun to identify her with the Harry Potter character, but she couldn’t let this cage her. In 2007, Emma Watson’s role in a movie based on Ballet Shoes by Noel Streatfield boosted her acting confidence. She was a lead character in a movie aired on BBC One.

In 2008, Watson tried her luck in animation – providing her voice in The Tale of Despereaux.

As much as her adolescence life revolved around film sets, Watson always set aside 5 hours per day for tutoring. She got high scores in almost all the subjects tested in high school equivalency exams. She gave herself a one year school break for the Potter movies but maintained she was determined to advance her education.

Having enjoyed stardom from teenage life, it us no surprise Watson had passion in fashion. She loves fashion because according to her, it is a way of expressing yourself to the world.
