Signs Your Single-Self May Be Too Picky

“Why are you still single?” – is a commonly asked question that is essentially a backwards compliment. It implies “Wow, you’re great, why doesn’t anybody want you?”
The most common responses are:
“I just haven’t met anyone I have chemistry with.”
“The one I wanted got away.”
“All the good ones are taken.”
I think the best response would be, “None of your business!” The only person who needs to know the real reason you’re still single is you. But do you know? If you’re frustrated with being single and want to find a lasting relationship you need to honestly admit you may be doing something wrong. It starts with the choices you make.

But then you find your significant other get engaged and in two seconds you turn the board from private to public and start turning your pins into a reality. Begging Mutual Friends

It's 2017 and I'm not supposed to be talking about the ex guy.  I will for a minute because I'd like to share what he's doing wrong.  He's been asking mutual friends to talk to me on his behalf.  That seems incredibly immature.  He knows what went wrong between us.  Instead of trying to fix the things that needed to be fixed (not that I think those things can be fixed), he's begging mutual friends to get involved.  When mutual friends bring up his name, I change the topic.Like one of my resolutions for 2017, I'm not taking any guy seriously unless he gives me a reason to take him

More Of A Friend?

That Saturday night date was good.  We had a lot in common.  We had a lot to talk about.  He was sociable and aware of social cues.  Unfortunately, I don't know if there's a spark.  I think I see him as more of a friend?  If he asks me out again, I'll go.He's been texting me, but hasn't asked me on another date.  I don't consider a date an actual date unless there is a time, place, and day.  He's been throwing out ideas of things for us to do.  I've agreed to the ideas, but there aren't proposed times or days, which makes me think he might not be

How To Know It’s Time To Call It Quits

When it’s needed, breaking up is harder to do than anything except for not breaking up.  But how do you know it’s time?
Are we having fun yet?
We all know relationships involve work.  But good relationships are overbalanced towards fun and reward—by a factor of twenty.  Literally, happy couples have 20x more positive interactions than negative, work-inducing ones.
And in a really solid dating relationship, the work often feels like play.  Being in love is the great motivating force that helps us put in the time and effort to build a future together, feeling more like “us against the world” than “me against you.”
So if you’ve been settling for 50/50, that’s a
