Ed Roberts wins May SEMBA in Auburn
As detailed in the post above, Ed Roberts took down the May SEMBA title, his third, at AMF Auburn Lanes while celebrating his 74th birthday. Ed went undefeated in match play after leading qualifying with an 836 (four games) for a total of 1,743. Darrell Guertin was second with 1,673.
2017 World Championships Relocated to Las Vegas
LAUSANNE – The 2017 World Championships will be held from Nov. 24 to Dec. 4 at the South Point Hotel in Las Vegas. The event, previously scheduled to be held in Kuwait City in December, had to be relocated due to unforeseen delays with the construction of the Kuwait Bowling
Sean Richard wins Southeastern Mass. singles title
It was a formality, but this Facebook post made it official: “$eany Ka$h” has won the Southeastern Mass. association scratch singles title with his 832 bowled in the tournament at Holiday Lanes in Westport. WTG!
Brian Egan claims first AXS title in Season Championship in Woonsocket
Per their Facebook post, the Amateur Experience Series reported Westgate bowler Brian Egan as the winner of their Season Championship event at Walnut Hill Bowl in Woonsocket, RI. Brian defeated Joe Lussier, 246-227, in the final match. Video exists on the AXS Facebook page, but was live with the camera
2017 Mass. youth state tournament results
The Mass. USBC Youth Association has posted final results of this year’s state tournament (PDF linked). While Westgate had no state champions this year, Cody Litchfield was recognized in the above file for having the high series in the 161-180 average division with a 715.

I hope to have results from the tournament soon, but, to get the honor scores from today’s Northeast Amateur Tournament handicap doubles event out of the way, Tom Hedding led the way with 278-268-268 for an 814 set. “Mr. 900” Hakim Emmanuel added to the scoring with a 300 game,
