Anggie Ramirez, Clara Guerrero, Laura Plazas, Rocio Restrepo, Maria Rodriguez
and Juliana Franco has reached their ultimate goal in winning the Team Gold
Medal in the World Bowling Women’s Championships. They defeated Team Sweden in

the WWC 5-player Team Event.

LAS VEGAS, August 26 – Colombia’s Clara Guerrero rolled a huge 275 in
the final qualifying game to lead her team into the top spot going into the semi-finals
in the Trios event at the World Bowling Women’s Championships. Guerrero
finished with a 1395, averaging 232.5 for the six games.

LAS VEGAS, August 25 – Team Columbia 3 leads the final four into the
World Bowling Women’s Championships Doubles semi-finals with a very consistent performance
from Rocio Restrepo and Maria Rodriguez. Rocio rolled 1381 and Rodriguez shot
1377 for a 2758 total and overall 229.5 average.
