LAS VEGAS – SOUTH POINT BOWLING PLAZA – Danielle McEwan of Team USA was
completely dialed in for the Singles Event televised finals of the World
Bowling Women’s Championships. She captured the gold medal with a 259-193 win
against team mate Shannon O’Keefe in

USA Dominates Team Event Qualifying
LAS VEGAS, August 27 – For Team USA members Stefanie Johnson, Liz
Kuhlkin, Danielle McEwan, Shannon O’Keefe, Missy Parkin and Jordan Richard the
first three days of the World Bowling Women’s Championships has been very
challenging . . . but Tuesday, they put together a dominating performance in
the WWC 5-player Team Event.

Colombia Tops Trios Qualifying
LAS VEGAS, August 26 – Colombia’s Clara Guerrero rolled a huge 275 in
the final qualifying game to lead her team into the top spot going into the semi-finals
in the Trios event at the World Bowling Women’s Championships. Guerrero
finished with a 1395, averaging 232.5 for the six games.

Columbia Comes Through with Two Teams in Doubles Semi-Finals
LAS VEGAS, August 25 – Team Columbia 3 leads the final four into the
World Bowling Women’s Championships Doubles semi-finals with a very consistent performance
from Rocio Restrepo and Maria Rodriguez. Rocio rolled 1381 and Rodriguez shot
1377 for a 2758 total and overall 229.5 average.
