This earned her acclamation and nomination for Academy Award, a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award. More opportunities started to come forth in 2011 with appearances in The Beaver with Mel Gibson, Jodie Foster and Anton Yelchin. She also played the character Mystique in X-Men: First Class. Lawrence’s career was pushed further in 2012 when she got a role in The Hunger Games. This is a film featuring 24 teens that fight to death in a televised entertainment. Within the opening-day, the film broke box-office records and set new ones. By 2015, she had earned $2.8 billion dollars at box office.
